Mark Miller is a Wall Street Journal bestselling author, speaker, executive coach, and co-founder of Lead Every Day, recognized for his extensive career in American business leadership. Miller spent 45 years at Chick-fil-A, beginning as an hourly team member and advancing to vice president of high-performance leadership before retiring. He became the company's sixteenth corporate employee and contributed across multiple areas, including launching the Corporate Communications group, the Quality & Customer Satisfaction Team, and leading in restaurant operations, training and development, and leadership development.
Miller and his team at Chick-fil-A dedicated a quarter century and significant resources to researching and validating effective strategies in leadership, high-performance teams, organizational culture, employee engagement, execution, and personal leadership effectiveness. During his tenure, he contributed to Chick-fil-A's growth from 75 restaurants to more than 2,300 locations. His leadership philosophy centers on the principle that effective leaders serve, a perspective that has influenced both his corporate work and his writing.
Miller has authored or co-authored 13 books on leadership and team performance. His best-known work is "The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do," co-authored with Ken Blanchard, which has sold more than 750,000 copies in over 30 countries. Other titles include "Culture Rules," "Talent Magnet," "Win Every Day," and "Lead Every Day," co-authored with Randy Gravitt. His book "Uncommon Greatness" further explores leadership development. Collectively, Miller's books have sold more than 1.5 million copies in 32 languages.
