Jared Blank Biography
Jared Blank is a marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, and marketing technology. Blank developed his expertise during his tenure at Tommy Hilfiger, where he joined as senior director of e-commerce marketing and advanced to vice president of e-commerce, overseeing the brand's U.S. online retail operations. In this role, he utilized data-driven marketing strategies, including personalization platforms, to increase email campaign open rates and grow the retailer's email newsletter subscriber base.
Earlier in his career, Blank worked as a senior analyst at Jupiter Research, focusing on travel and email marketing, and as a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in supply chain management and strategic marketing. He also co-founded Tripmela.com, a travel deals website centered on India, before returning to Tommy Hilfiger in a senior leadership role.
Following his time at Tommy Hilfiger, Blank served as chief marketing officer at DealNews, an online deal-finding platform, and later joined Bluecore, a customer experience and marketing automation platform, as senior vice president of data analysis and insights. At Bluecore, he led insights and marketing teams, supporting more than 400 retail clients in leveraging shopper and product data for personalized communications. He later became senior vice president of marketing and insights, applying his retail experience to technology-driven marketing solutions. Blank also held chief marketing officer roles at Doodle AG, a global scheduling technology platform, and VTEX, a commerce platform.
Blank is the founder of Sagelett Digital, a messaging strategy consultancy that assists software companies in improving communication. He authors "Gobbledy," a weekly newsletter analyzing marketing language, buzzwords, and jargon in business communications. The newsletter has attracted thousands of subscribers.
