Todd Buchholz Biography
Todd Buchholz is an economist, author, inventor, and business consultant whose career spans government, finance, and academia. Buchholz served as director of economic policy under President George H.W. Bush and as managing director of Tiger Management. Before joining Tiger Management, he was president of G7 Group, an international consulting firm with clients including major securities firms, investment banks, and money managers in New York, London, and Tokyo, such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Buchholz holds advanced degrees in economics and law from Harvard and Cambridge, was a fellow at Cambridge, and received the Allyn Young Teaching Prize at Harvard.
Buchholz has written several books on economics and leadership, which have been translated into multiple languages and are used in universities worldwide, including NYU, Duke, and Princeton. His book "New Ideas from Dead Economists" has been recognized by the American Economics Association and is included on recommended reading lists at institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Harvard. The Sunday Times described "The Price of Prosperity: Why Rich Nations Fail and How to Renew Them" as highly entertaining and far-sighted, while The Wall Street Journal included it on its list of "Eight Summer Must-Reads."
