Greg Besner is an entrepreneur, author, and business executive recognized as the co-founder and CEO of SUNFLOW, a beach lifestyle brand focused on outdoor leisure products. SUNFLOW was established by Besner and co-founder Leslie Hsu with the goal of enhancing the beach experience through innovative design and functionality in outdoor chairs and accessories. The company was featured on the television show "Shark Tank" during Season 13, where Besner and Hsu secured a deal with Kevin O'Leary. SUNFLOW has reported significant year-over-year growth in its early years.
Prior to SUNFLOW, Besner held leadership roles across various industries. He began his career in fashion, completing the Macy's Retail Executive Training Program and later serving as United States sales manager for Giorgio Armani Fashion Corporation. Besner founded and led Computershare Executive Services, a SaaS fintech company previously known as Restricted Stock Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Computershare Limited. He also served as CFO of SecondMarket Holdings, Inc., where he contributed to raising $36 million in venture capital funding. Besner was an early investor in Zappos.com, which influenced his interest in organizational culture.
Besner founded CultureIQ, a platform dedicated to helping organizations develop high-performance workplace cultures.
