Anne Morriss is a leadership visionary, driven by an infectious commitment to help people realize their full potential as leaders and change-makers. She is the founder and Executive Director of The Leadership Consortium (TLC), a first-of-its-kind leadership accelerator that works to build inclusive executive teams and prepare emerging leaders for senior roles. Through its innovative virtual development experiences, TLC helps more and varied leaders thrive and accelerate their impact.
With more than twenty years of experience in building and leading mission-driven enterprises, Morriss has served in significant roles, such as the CEO of GenePeeks, a computational genomics company developing breakthrough ways to identify genetic risk. Her expertise spans guiding entrepreneurs, companies, and governments throughout the United States and Latin America on strategy, leadership, and organizational change. Her collaborators have ranged from early-stage tech founders to public sector leaders working to build national competitiveness.
Morriss's commitment to inclusivity and diversity is further evidenced by her service on a number of not-for-profit boards, including the National Board of IGNITE, which champions the need for more women in public office. She is the co-author of the best-selling book "Uncommon Service: How to Win by Putting Customers at the Core of Your Business" and "Unleashed: The Unapologetic Leader’s Guide to Empowering Everyone Around You" - hailed as “the definitive guide to leadership today."
Adding to her portfolio of work, Morriss also lends her voice and insights to the TED Audio Collective as the co-host of "Fixable," a podcast focused on real-world problems and solutions. Her thought leadership is also evident in her TED talk of May 2023 titled "5 steps to fix any problem at work." Her readers and listeners can look forward to her new book, "Move Fast & Fix Things."
Morriss received her BA from Brown University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
