Zachary Israel Braff is an actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter recognized for his role as J.D. Dorian on the medical comedy series "Scrubs." This performance earned Braff a Primetime Emmy nomination and three Golden Globe nominations. His work on the NBC/ABC series established him as a comedic actor skilled at portraying complex characters in television comedy.
In addition to acting, Braff has built a career as a director and writer. He made his directorial debut with "Garden State," an independent film he also wrote and starred in.
