Susan was invited to speak at our national conference based on the success of her book "How to Work a Room". She taught a group of several hundred highly successful wealth managers how to walk into a room of complete strangers, then proactively meet and carry on a conversation with anyone - usually a very daunting and intimidating task for anyone. Her method wasn't just speaking 'at' us, but engaging herself in conversation 'with' us throughout the two hour session. Her interactive exercises eased us into the process of smoothly striking up a conversation. The remarks we received from the attendees on her session we extremely favorable - including many who said that learning her techniques at the beginning of the conference made it much easier to network with colleagues through the rest of the conference.
