Sean’s was the highlight of the Industry Product Collective Conference for me. Much of the software product development process, in regards to product being built, can be heads down feature building and “finish” the product, go to market. Sean’s mantra, “If your product has a future, it’s never going to be done” was a perfect description and really resonated with me. Another tactic from Sean’s session that I am planning to deploy is around stack ranking personas. The idea is to identify those personas that will be most engaged with your product. Once you identify those folks, you literally spend the majority of your sprint solving problems and developing solutions for your top personas to evolve them into “advocates”! I’d highly recommend a workshop with Sean! Easily relatable and understandable content for motivating strategic x tactical thinkers!

I recently attended a workshop at the INDUSTRY Product Management conference where Sean was one of the speakers. In my professional career, I have never left a session/workshop/etc feeling as inspired and motivated as I did leaving Sean’s workshop.
