Minter Dial is a professional speaker, author, filmmaker, and consultant specializing in leadership, branding, and digital transformation. Dial spent 16 years as an executive at L'Oréal, serving on the worldwide Executive Committee for the Professional Products Division. During his tenure, he held roles as managing director worldwide of Redken and managing director of the Canadian subsidiary of the Professional Products Division. Following his corporate career, Dial focused on entrepreneurship, advising senior management teams and boards on brand strategy, digital integration, and technology adoption. He has collaborated with global brands including L'Occitane, Google, Samsung, Remy Cointreau, Kering, and Tencent.
Dial is the author of several books covering business strategy, technology, and history. His debut, "The Last Ring Home: A POW's Lasting Legacy of Courage, Love, and Honor in World War II," was adapted into a documentary film for PBS and History Channel. His book "Futureproof: How To Get Your Business Ready For The Next Disruption," co-written with Caleb Storkey and published by Pearson, received recognition in the business book sector. "Heartificial Empathy: Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence" was honored in the technology category and was a finalist for a business book award. "You Lead: How Being Yourself Makes You A Better Leader," published by Kogan Page, was recognized in the leadership category.
Dial has delivered more than 600 talks and seminars across five continents, presenting at conferences such as SXSW, Twitch, Yext, Cision, Netexplo, and Tencent.
