Greg McKeown Biography
Greg McKeown is a British-born author, public speaker, and leadership strategist known for his work in business leadership, productivity, and organizational strategy. McKeown earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business after completing a BA in communications and journalism at Brigham Young University. He also holds a certificate from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and conducts doctoral research at the University of Cambridge. He is the founder and CEO of McKeown, Inc., a leadership and strategy design agency based in California.
McKeown is the author of two New York Times bestsellers: "Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less" and "Effortless: Make It Easier to Do What Matters Most." He also co-authored the New York Times bestseller "Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter" with Liz Wiseman. His books, which focus on essentialism, leadership, and personal productivity, have sold 3 million copies and been published in 40 languages. McKeown co-created the course "Designing Life, Essentially" at Stanford University.
As a public speaker, McKeown has addressed hundreds of organizations in more than 45 countries, with clients including Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Nike, and the Navy SEALs. He has appeared on NPR, NBC, FOX, and as a regular guest on "The Steve Harvey Show."
