Damaris Phillips is a chef and television personality recognized for her inventive approach to Southern cuisine and her presence on Food Network. Phillips won the ninth season of "Food Network Star," showcasing her fresh perspective on Southern cooking. She holds a degree in culinary arts from Jefferson Community and Technical College and has worked as a culinary instructor, reflecting her commitment to culinary education.
Phillips completed an internship at 610 Magnolia under Chef Edward Lee, gaining experience in a fine-dining environment. She later hosted "Southern at Heart" for five seasons, building a dedicated audience with her interpretations of traditional Southern dishes.
