Brent Bushnell Biography
Brent is the CEO and co-founder of Two Bit Circus, a Los Angeles-based experiential entertainment company. The interdisciplinary team strives to create immersive, social fun and operates a network of micro-amusement parks. These 40k square foot retail entertainment centers bring together the best in free-roam VR, interactive game shows, futuristic carnival games, modern arcades, escape rooms and more. The team has created experiential attractions for brands including NFL, NBA, Google and the Olympics and regularly serve as immersive entertainment partners for studios, technology companies and events. Previously Brent was the on-camera inventor for the ABC TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and was a founding member of the creative collective that helped the band OK Go build the Rube Goldberg machine for their viral music video that has garnered 60+ million views.
Brent is an entrepreneur, electrical engineer, software developer, and an authority in immersive entertainment, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and Augmented Reality. Brent is an expert in the art of connection and experiential engagement. He is passionate about creating new ways to capture people’s hearts and minds with new technologies and he is on fire about using play and spectacle to inspire the next generation of inventors.
Brent is chairman of Two Bit Circus Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that deploys STEAM-based programs to empower students with the tools of invention and facilitates STEAM Carnivals around the world. He is a Sir Edmund Hillary Fellow and enjoys mentoring teens in entrepreneurship via programs such as NFTE. He's a supporter of Clowns Without Borders and publishes at @brentbushnell.
