A.C. Green, a former professional basketball player, holds a unique record in the NBA for most consecutive regular-season games played. With an impressive roster that includes the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat, Green's career showcases diversity and adaptability. His prowess on the court is evident in his three NBA championship wins with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1987, 1988, and 2000 and his recognition as an NBA All-Star in 1990.
Green's collegiate career at Oregon State University set the pace for his successful professional journey. He was named to the All-America Third Team and was later selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 1985 NBA draft. His contribution to the Lakers was significant, leading in rebounding for six of his eight years on the team and earning a spot on the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1988-89. His time with the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks also showcased his consistent performance, particularly his double-figure scoring with the Suns.
