Holding dual American-French citizenship, he competed at the highest levels of international ice hockey, scoring a goal in five games during the Winter Olympics.
After his hockey career, LeMarque faced challenges transitioning from professional sports, including a period of addiction. Following his rescue, LeMarque underwent the amputation of both legs due to frostbite.
LeMarque's experience is detailed in his memoir, "Crystal Clear," and served as the basis for the feature film "6 Below." He has since become a motivational speaker, addressing topics such as resilience, addiction recovery, survival, and faith. LeMarque delivers keynote speeches at corporate events, educational institutions, conferences, and youth programs, sharing insights on overcoming adversity and the power of determination.
