Winka Dubbeldam Biography
Winka Dubbeldam is the founding partner of the global architecture firm Archi-Tectonics, headquartered in New York City, with offices in Los Angeles, Hangzhou and Amsterdam. Dubbeldam is the director and CEO of SCI-Arc in Los Angeles, following her tenure at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design from 2013 to 2023.
Dubbeldam has presented her firm’s work internationally, with solo shows and lectures in New York, Rotterdam, Bogotá, Milan, Munich, Venice and Berlin, and at global forums and climate conferences including the United Nations in New York, COP Dubai, AIA New York, UIA Copenhagen, CTBUH Singapore and TED Edinburgh. She serves as the RIBA external examiner at the Architectural Association in London, and has authored five monographs, including her latest, 2025's "Monsters and Mutants."
