Phnam Bagley is a French industrial designer, futurist, and space architect whose work spans a range of disciplines, from terrestrial design to the frontiers of outer space. Bagley earned a master's degree in industrial design at Strate in France, focusing on space and luxury design, and a master's degree in space architecture from the University of Houston's SICSA. She began her career designing transportation and habitats for manned space missions before transitioning to consumer electronics and handcrafted luxury goods. Prior to founding her own firm, Bagley worked at design consultancies including IDEO, Lunar (now McKinsey Design), Matter (now Fjord), and LifestyleDesign.
Bagley is the co-founder of Nonfiction, a design and innovation firm that specializes in turning science fiction concepts into practical solutions. As an industrial designer and aerospace architect, she develops hardware and experiences in wearables, healthcare and wellness, education, robotics, transportation, and aerospace, with a focus on integrating advanced technologies into accessible products.
