Veronique Gabai-Pinsky is a brand builder and fragrance industry leader with a career spanning more than three decades across beauty, fashion, and luxury sectors. Time Magazine has recognized her as one of the most influential women in the luxury industry. With extensive experience in creating brands, products, and consumer experiences, Gabai-Pinsky has contributed to the global beauty and fragrance landscape. She holds a master's degree in marketing from Essec Business School and a business degree from CERAM Business School.
Gabai-Pinsky's career includes leadership roles at major companies. Early in her career, she served as vice president of marketing and communication for Guerlain, a division of LVMH, where she led the re-launch of "Shalimar," introduced "Aqua Allegoria," and contributed to the development of the beauty category around its pillars, Terracotta, Meteorites, and Issima. She later joined The Estée Lauder Companies as global president for Aramis and Designer Fragrances, as well as Beauty Bank and Idea Bank, reporting directly to the CEO. During her tenure, she expanded brands such as Donna Karan and Michael Kors, brought in Tory Burch, Zegna, and Marni under licenses, and participated in the acquisitions of Le Labo, Frederic Malle, and By Kilian. Notable fragrance launches from this period include "Be Delicious" for Donna Karan and "Poppy" for Coach.
As president of the Vera Wang Group, Gabai-Pinsky oversaw all categories and markets, supported the growth of the bridal category, transformed the Ready-to-Wear division, and developed partnerships in jewelry through the Signet licensing agreement and the Chow Tai Fook agreement in China. Following her time at Vera Wang, she launched her eponymous brand, focusing on fragrance, beauty, and accessories, operating through a direct-to-consumer model and partnerships with retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Harrods. Her brand, inspired by the Côte d'Azur, features highly concentrated, all-natural ingredients and has received recognition at the Fragrance Foundation Awards for "AROMA" and "Délices des Bois."
Gabai-Pinsky consults for brands in the beauty, fragrance, and luxury industries, including Zimmermann and Baobab, and developed the first line of perfumes and home fragrances for the Princess Grace Foundation of Monaco. She has served as chief brand and product officer at Bath & Body Works, focusing on consumer engagement, fragrance innovation, and brand development.
