Natalia Oberti Noguera Biography
Natalia Oberti Noguera is an entrepreneur, investor, and advocate whose work has influenced the landscape of angel investing in the United States. Oberti Noguera attended Yale University, majoring in economics and comparative literature. She founded New York Women Social Entrepreneurs, a network of female social entrepreneurs that grew to more than 1,200 members. Through this experience, Oberti Noguera identified a persistent gap in the marketplace: women-led ventures were underfunded, and women with capital were largely absent from the angel investing ecosystem.
Oberti Noguera founded Pipeline Angels to address these disparities in angel investing and to create capital for women and non-binary femme social entrepreneurs. Pipeline Angels offers programs such as Bootcamp and Pitch Summit, which cover education, due diligence, valuation, portfolio strategies, and impact measurement, along with mentorship from an inclusive community.
Pipeline Angels expanded to a network of more than 300 members who invested over $5 million in more than 50 companies. Through the organization, Oberti Noguera addressed the gender gap by funding women of color, trans women, cis women, nonbinary, two-spirit, agender, and gender-nonconforming founders. She also expanded the angel investing bootcamp to San Juan, Puerto Rico, supporting local founders and the island's economy while working to increase the number of Latinx angel investors nationwide.
Oberti Noguera is the creator and host of "Pitch Makeover," a podcast focused on pitching and investing that highlights startups led by women, non-binary people, and men of color. She has been recognized by Inc Magazine, Latina.com, and Women's eNews, and received the Nixon Peabody Trailblazer Award from StartOut.
