Leisha Hailey Biography
Leisha Hailey, best known for her role as Alice Pieszecki in "The L Word" and "The L Word: Generation Q," began her career as a musician in the pop duo The Murmurs. Her work in the music industry took an interesting turn when she co-wrote the hit song "Don't Bother" for Shakira's album "Oral Fixation Vol. 2." Alongside her music journey, Hailey has also made her mark in film, starring in the indie film "La Cucina," which premiered on Showtime, and the psychological thriller "Fertile Ground" in 2011.
Hailey co-hosts the podcast "PANTS" with her co-star Kate Moennig which discusses friendship, queer life, chosen family, and more. In 2025, the pair published a joint memoir titled "So Gay for You."
