Lauren Jackson is recognized as one of the most accomplished women's basketball players and is often cited as the leading basketball player from Australia. Jackson was the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft and was identified as a franchise player by Seattle Storm. She played in the WNBA for more than a decade, winning two WNBA Championships, earning three League MVP awards, and receiving seven WNBA All-Star selections.
