Julie Schmidt Hasson, Ed.D., is an educator, researcher, author, and keynote speaker who has dedicated her professional life to supporting teachers in cultivating resilience, engagement, and sustainability in the classroom. After spending 15 years as a primary-grade teacher and another decade as a school administrator, she earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of South Florida and transitioned to a role as a professor at Appalachian State University. Drawing on her extensive experience and collaboration with resilience experts like Dr. Amit Sood, she developed the evidence-based Teacher Recharge Framework and Toolkit to help teachers “impact lives and still have a life,” addressing burnout with practical strategies. Through dynamic keynotes, tailored professional learning, and consulting, she empowers educators to identify and respond to challenges using research-backed methods that reinvigorate both their teaching and well‑being.
