Brooks began his career as a third-grade teacher in Palm Bay, Florida, later serving as an intervention specialist and administrator. He earned a master's degree in administration and worked as an elementary principal before transitioning to public speaking.
After earning a degree in elementary education from Troy University, Brooks dedicated his career to serving students and teachers as both an educator and administrator. While working as a principal in Kentucky, he gained national attention for his humorous videos on YouTube, which highlighted real-world educational experiences.
