Ginny Too is a human resources executive whose career spans three decades in talent development, organizational culture, and people strategy across the United States and Asia. Too holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and social psychology and a Master of Science in counseling and personnel services from Purdue University, providing a foundation for her human-centered approach to leadership.
Too has extensive experience in human resources at the corporate, international, and operations levels. She is multicultural and multilingual, having lived and worked in the United States, Malaysia, Japan, China, and Singapore. Her expertise includes talent resourcing, employee engagement and retention strategies, organizational development, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, business process engineering, mergers and acquisitions, and the integration of corporate cultures.
Earlier in her career, Too served as vice president of human resources for Asia Australasia at InterContinental Hotels Group, leading the people agenda across the region for both corporate and hotel operations. Her responsibilities included talent attraction, recruitment, development, talent review and succession planning, and employee engagement and retention. She later led operations and corporate functions as vice president of human resources for the Americas at InterContinental Hotels Group. This international experience provided Too with a global perspective on workforce strategy.
Too also served as senior vice president of people and culture at Kimpton Hotels, where she was responsible for developing and executing Kimpton's human resources strategy, guiding regional people and culture teams, and overseeing the employee journey. Kimpton's human resources team is referred to as People and Culture to reflect the company's commitment to empowering employees and maintaining an inclusive workplace environment. This approach contributed to Kimpton's number one ranking on Fortune's list of "25 Best Workplaces in the Bay Area."
