CJ Mosley Biography
CJ Mosley, a former professional football linebacker, demonstrated his skill and prowess in the field throughout his career with the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets. As an athlete, Mosley was consistently recognized for his performance, earning him five-time Second-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl selectee honours. His first Pro Bowl appearance was in 2015 during his rookie season with the Ravens, making him the first player from his team to earn such recognition during a rookie season. He was also a runner-up for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2014.
Before his NFL career, Mosley was already making a name for himself in college football. He won two BCS national championships with Alabama under Nick Saban in 2011 and 2012, received the prestigious Butkus Award in 2013, and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in the same year. His college career also saw him as a Unanimous All-American in 2013, a Consensus All-American in 2012, and a two-time First-team All-SEC in 2012 and 2013. These recognitions served as a testament to his potential, leading to his selection by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Throughout his professional career, Mosley racked up 1,083 total tackles, 12 sacks, 12 interceptions, 53 pass deflections, 10 forced fumbles, 9 fumble recoveries, and 3 defensive touchdowns. His leadership and performance as a starting inside linebacker were pivotal to his teams. Mosley announced his retirement in 2025, leaving a solid legacy in the NFL with his consistent performance and numerous recognitions.

I am able to block out outside noise and live a very pleasant and happy life. I am able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Body, mind, soul. I am happy!
Throughout my career I have been on very prominent football teams with storied franchises. The University of Alabama, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets are extremely popular teams with rich history and tradition. I have been able to uphold the standard. Additionally, these teams have introduced me to people from all over the country with different viewpoints on life. We have been able to listen and learn, and had much success on the football field, together.
