Andrew Sullivan is a British-American writer, editor, blogger, and political commentator known for his contributions to political journalism, media analysis, and commentary on public policy. Sullivan attended Magdalen College, Oxford, before moving to the United States to pursue a master's in public administration and a doctorate in political science at Harvard. As the former editor-in-chief of The New Republic, Sullivan became the youngest editor in the magazine's history and expanded its coverage to include cultural issues and the politics surrounding them.
Sullivan's work has included critiques of health care policy, coverage of gay rights, analysis of the Supreme Court, and reporting on the Bosnian War.
