Sir Tim Smit KBE is the Chief Executive and Co-founder of the Eden Project, located near St Austell in Cornwall. Since its inception as a concept in 1995 and its opening to the public in 2000, the Eden Project has transformed a once sterile pit into a vibrant cradle of life, showcasing world-class horticulture and striking architecture that symbolize human endeavor.
