Shantell Thomas’s drive is simple - to help build workplaces where she’d genuinely like to work! Thomas built her career as a marketer in the technology industry, which is known for groundbreaking products that shape our lives in countless ways. But behind every innovation, are people. Thomas is deeply interested in the workplace experience of the people behind those innovations. That deep interest became the passion which shifted her focus from marketing products to focusing on the people behind them.
Her journey started first as a Diversity & Inclusion practitioner, then evolved into an Employee Experience leader. Most recently she delivered an enhanced experience for an organization size of 25K+ employees at Amazon Web Services. Across the span of a 25-year career, I have had the privilege of contributing to other Global Fortune 500 technology companies including IBM, Avalara, and Lenovo.
