Regan Birr Biography
Regan Birr is a lupus patient and mechanical engineer. She is the founder of the Lupus Research Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about lupus and funds for research. She was very ill when first diagnosed, and underwent two and a half years of chemotherapy. After feeling extreme fatigue and pain for a number of years, she finally decided to take control. She used her background and developed a low-torque form of exercise. It took her from needing a cane for the stairs to being vibrant, energetic, and healthy.
Now, her passion is sharing these ways so that other people can feel better too. Birr discusses easy, effective ways people can improve their lives while facing challenges.
