Lily D. Moore is an actress, model, and disability advocate recognized for her work in advancing disability representation in the entertainment industry. Moore, who was born with Down syndrome, has challenged stereotypes and contributed to greater inclusion in Hollywood.
Moore gained recognition for her role as Rebecca, the adopted sister of Paxton, on Netflix's "Never Have I Ever." Her portrayal of Rebecca, a character who also has Down syndrome, resonated with audiences and critics. Moore's additional acting credits include appearances on NBC's "Dangerous Minds," Freeform's "Single Drunk Female," Warner Bros. TV's "Teenage Euthanasia," TV Land's "Teachers," FOX's "Gifted" and "Sleepy Hollow," as well as PBS' "Hope Givers." She has also appeared in the feature film "Holy Irresistible," the award-winning "Lift," and the television movie "Pastors' Kids." Moore received a regional Emmy Award for her work on "Hope Givers."
In addition to her acting career, Moore has worked as a model, participating in Kornit LA Fashion Week and the Radical Beauty Project, a collective featuring models with Down syndrome. She has appeared in national commercials and print campaigns for brands including TJ Maxx, Prudential, Procter & Gamble, Lulus, and Goodwill. Moore also narrated the audiobook of "Different, A Great Thing to Be!," a children's book by Heather Avis.
Moore is active as a humanitarian and advocate, serving as a Champion Ambassador for Special Olympics and supporting organizations such as Breaking Barriers and Extra Special People. She founded H.E.L.P. — Helping Everyone with Love and Passion — an initiative that provides food and toiletries to the homeless. Moore completed the ClemsonLIFE program at Clemson University to further her independence. Her ongoing work in acting, modeling, and advocacy continues to influence disability representation and inclusion in media and society.
