Kevin Swindell Biography
Kevin Swindell is an American racing driver, who has competed in USAC and NASCAR competition. He has won 77 races in various dirt racing series including the Chili Bowl Nationals. Swindell is the son of three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car champion Sammy Swindell.
Swindell is a 4-Time Chili Bowl Nationals Winner. His other accolades include 2009 Knoxville Nationals Winner, 2008 Western World Championships Winner, and the Youngest winner in World of Outlaws history.
On Thursday, August 13, 2015, Swindell was involved in a career-ending accident in the early laps of a heat race during night two of the 55th annual Knoxville Nationals. During the crash he sustained a significant injury, breaking the L-1 and T-7 vertebrae in his back.
Since the injury, Swindell has transitioned to the ownership side of the sport. Kevin Swindell Racing debuted at the 2016 Chili Bowl with Kevin Thomas Jr.
