She has additionally appeared on the talk show "The Doctors," hosted and co-judged a series on Spike titled "Sweat, INC." in the fall of 2015, and premiered her own reality television series "Just Jillian" on E! in January 2016. Michaels has also hosted the spin-off show "Losing It With Jillian."
Michaels is an active philanthropist who works closely with a variety of charities including the UNHCR, the NFL's Play 60, Stand Up to Cancer, and Dress for Success. She has taken multiple missions to help raise awareness and funds for refugees around the globe and serves as an adviser to the National Day of Dance for Heart Health, an organization that encourages people to exercise. In addition to this, she has been involved in charity events and initiatives, including hosting an All-Star Game Charity 5K & Fun Run, and has supported organizations like Working Wardrobes and Hope for Haiti.
In her personal life, Michaels openly identifies as gay. She was in a relationship with Heidi Rhoades from 2009 to 2018, and they have two children together. As of November 2021, she was engaged to fashion designer DeShanna Marie Minuto, with whom she tied the knot in July 2022.
