Jessica Herrin Biography
Jessica Herrin is an entrepreneur, author, and innovator whose career spans the evolution of technology, including the internet, social commerce, and artificial intelligence. After earning a degree in economics from Stanford University, Herrin joined two technology startups before attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At age 24, she left business school to co-found WeddingChannel.com, a wedding website later acquired by The Knot.
Herrin founded Stella & Dot, a social selling company, which has sold more than $2 billion in accessories across six countries and provided women with over $500 million in flexible income opportunities. She initially launched the company as Luxe Jewels before expanding it into a global brand. Herrin later established the Stella & Dot Family of Brands, which includes accessories brand KEEP Collective and EVER Skincare, a clean beauty brand. She also developed a social selling software platform. Products from these brands have been featured in InStyle, Vogue, Allure, Elle, and Real Simple.
Herrin received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has been recognized by Inc. as one of the Top Ten Female Entrepreneurs, Top Ten Female CEOs, and as part of the 40 Under 40 list. Her work has been featured on Oprah, Today Show, and Undercover Boss, as well as in Fortune, the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal. Her entrepreneurial journey is the subject of a case study at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Herrin is the author of "Find Your Extraordinary: Dream Bigger, Live Happier, and Achieve Success on Your Own Terms," which outlines her approach to entrepreneurship and personal growth. She addresses overcoming failure, discrimination, and gender bias in Silicon Valley. Herrin has also hosted the "Self Made" podcast, sharing insights on entrepreneurship and empowerment.
Herrin founded Marklo to assist consumer brands in planning marketing campaigns using sales, inventory, and marketing data.
