Jeremy Wade is a writer, television presenter, and biologist recognized for his expertise in rivers and freshwater fish, with more than 30 years of experience exploring remote waterways. Wade holds a degree in zoology from Bristol University and a postgraduate teaching certificate in biological sciences from the University of Kent. He has also worked as a secondary school biology teacher.
Wade’s interest in the underwater world began in southeast England and led to his first overseas expedition to India’s mountain rivers.
