Jason Hanson is a former CIA agent who won Shark Tank. Hanson is also known for being the author of "Spy Secrets That Can Save Your Life," where, as the title implies, he tells readers about the secrets of espionage that can help keep everyone safe. After graduating from Radford University, Hanson served on the Arlington County Police Force prior to joining the CIA.
A two-time winner of the CIA's Exceptional Performance Award, Hanson left the CIA because he wanted to start a family. He then launched his business, Spy Escape and Evasion, on the premise that people don't need extensive training to be significantly safer. “You don’t need to spend 10 years becoming a black belt," Hanson says. "You need to know how to be situationally aware, how to use defensive tools and techniques and learn the 'Inside Secrets' to using these techniques to stay safe.”
