Jase Robertson Biography
Jase Robertson is an innovator, professional duck hunter, COO of Duck Commander, and former star of the A&E reality television show Duck Dynasty.
Duck Commander is a company that manufactures a duck call by the same name, as well as other duck hunting equipment. It was founded in 1972 by Jase's father, Phil "Duck Commander" Robertson. Beginning as a one-man business in a dilapidated boat, it has grown into a multi-million dollar empire and, in 2012, became the focus of the widely popular Duck Dynasty television program.
Growing up with his father Jase soon realized that if he wanted to spend time with him, he'd have to meet him in the blind. Jase soon developed the same passion for duck hunting, and from the age of 8 years old, he spent as much time in the woods as he possibly could - even missing the maximum number of days from school each year that the law would allow.
Today he shows that same passion and drive to meet his dad in the blind each and every day of duck season for one common goal... limiting out. Hunting, along with helping the family business to succeed, consumes most of Jase's time. Roberson runs the manufacturing part of Duck Commander, making sure that every call is hand-tuned, in large part by himself. This part of the business is very important to him as he knows consumers want the best call possible.
Duck Dynasty ran from 2012 to 2017 with 11 seasons and 130 episodes. In 2019, Jase started a podcast, Unashamed with Phil Robertson, with his father and brother Al to discuss their Christian faith and share the Gospel with everyone, from new believers to longtime followers of Jesus.
Jase lives in West Monroe, Louisiana, with his wife Missy and their three children, Reed, Cole, and Mia.
