Hannah Wilkes Biography
Hannah Wilkes is a presenter for Sky Sports and covers a huge range of sport for the network.
Wilkes currently presents “Sky Sports Breakfast” on Sky Sports News, features as part of the channels famed Transfer Deadline Day line-up, and also hosts Sky Sports’ coverage of the NFL, The Hundred and the World Nineball Tour.
Having joined Sky Sports News in the summer of 2022, Wilkes previously presented Good Morning Sports Fans before the channel relaunched the show as Sky Sports Breakfast in August of 2025. She has also been a regular sports presenter on Sky News’ programming since 2021.
Within the NFL space Wilkes has covered three Super Bowls (and counting!), interviewed some of the games’ biggest names, and regularly hosts the flagship Sunday coverage; featuring two full matches, in game updates from the entire schedule, plus studio analysis, it’s a broadcasting marathon! Wilkes also fronts coverage of the International Games on location in Dublin, London and Berlin and has hosted pre-game live events on behalf of the NFL itself, including a ground-breaking all-day Fan Zone in front of the newly renovated Battersea Power Station with over 20,000 fans and legends from the game in attendance. Since 2023 Wilkes has been part of the presenting line up of The Hundred, joining Sky Sports’ award-winning Cricket team to host coverage of both the men’s and women’s tournaments at venues all over England and Wales bringing her warmth and energy to engage a new audience in this unique competition.
Wilkes has been with Sky since she secured two weeks work experience in 2010 whilst still studying at Loughborough University, where she had cut her teeth in student TV. She began working as a runner upon graduation and essentially refused to leave, working her way up through the ranks behind the camera as an Assistant Producer, before pursuing on-screen roles as both a reporter and a presenter. Along the way she’s covered everything from showjumping to tenpin bowling, fronted a children’s sports show (Game Changers), and passionately told the stories of women in sport through Rise With Us, The Check In, and the award winning Her Huddle. In unexpected career milestones, Wilkes also fronted “Cancelled: Women’s Sport and the Impact of Covid-19” live on Sky Sports in her living room during the pandemic. Her versatility, warmth and passion for shine through, no matter the subject or audience.
Alongside her work at Sky, Wilkes has also presented for talkSPORT, anchoring their coverage of the 2021 Lions Tour, as well as presenting the breakfast show on talkSPORT 2.
