Dr. Gibson is a record-setting astronaut, corporate leader and experienced speaker that blends the leadership lessons of success in space with the adventures of flight to captivate every audience. A brief summary of his accoplishments follows:

Working through Aerospace Partners, LLC, Dr. Gibson served as a member of the Constellation Standing Review Board that made assessments of NASA's Constellation Program, which is designed to service the International Space Station and return to the Moon. He also was Chairman of the Orion Standing Review Board that accomplished assessments of the Orion Manned Spacecraft Project.

As Senior Vice President and Operations Manager at SAIC for the Technical Support Services Contract at the EROS Data Center, Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Gibson had profit and loss responsibility for this 500-person science and land-data management organization on the $180-million EDC Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC) under the United States Geological Survey (USGS). He was responsible for the performance 400 SAIC employees, 100 subcontractors spread over three subcontracts, and employees in 13 different work locations including four locations outside of North America.

As Manager of SAIC's General Sciences Operation, Dr. Gibson had profit and loss responsibility for this 265-person science/data management organization.

Dr. Gibson has also consulted to NASA at Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Camus Inc. and TRW.

As a NASA Astronaut, Dr. Gibson established the American record of 84 days in space on Skylab III, which lasted for 21 years, after being selected by NASA from 2000 applicants. He also developed lunar space-walk timelines and procedures and served as Capcom for Apollo 12 crewmembers as they explored the Moon.

Dr. Gibson logged 2,200+ hours in high-performance aircraft, 150 hours in helicopters, and 2,014 hours in space.
