Brittany Ishibashi Biography
Brittany Ishibashi is an actress best known for her roles as Tina Minoru on Marvel’s Hulu series “Runaways” and Tamiko Masuda on CBS’ “Hawaii Five‑0.” She played Karai in Paramount’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” and can be seen in recurring roles on CBS’ “The Unicorn” and Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie.”
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Ishibashi grew up in a family immersed in the arts and discovered her passion for musical theater at a young age. She studied at UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television and launched her career with a role on J.J. Abrams’ “Felicity.” She has since appeared in numerous television series, including “This Is Us,” “The Office,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “House M.D.,” “Bones,” “Castle,” “Major Crimes,” “Young & Hungry” and “Supernatural,” and is known for her performance as Anne Ogami on USA Network’s Golden Globe–nominated series “Political Animals.”
Ishibashi also works behind the camera as a producer. In 2015, she launched her production company, Mana Moments, which focuses on female-driven, comedic content. She is a trained black belt in Tae Kwon Do and balances her career with family life in Los Angeles alongside her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Kai and Lilia.
