Ann Meyers Drysdale is a retired pro basketball player and a sportscaster. She is a prominent figure in women's basketball, recognized for her significant contributions to the sport. She became the first woman to sign with an NBA team, the Indiana Pacers.
Meyers Drysdale was the first recipient of a Division I athletic scholarship for women at UCLA and the first player drafted into the Women's Professional Basketball League. She was among the first women inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
