Tim Goldstein Biography

Tim Goldstein was diagnosed with Asperger’s-style autism at age 54. The diagnosis changed his life both personally and professionally. He has had multiple careers (which is not uncommon for the undiagnosed autistic!) starting with specialty retail in bicycling, skiing, and sporting goods that led to the wholesale world and creating national sales teams and international supply chains.

Goldstein is a serial entrepreneur in online and brick-and-mortar retail, product design and development, manufacturing, software, and an author. He joined the tech industry by becoming a Microsoft Certified System Engineer in the mid ‘90s.

After sharpening his skills in a few positions, becoming a data specialist. and being let go a few times, Goldstein became an independent IT consultant where he was able to experience the workplace culture of many companies large and small. Goldstein is a technical trainer at Google where he is deeply involved in their neurodiversity efforts.

Goldstein is on the board of the Autism Society of America, a neurodiversity advisor to multiple companies, and named to the 50 Top Global Neurodiversity Evangelists 2023.

Goldstein is a professionally trained and experienced speaker and trainer in both in person and virtual formats. His style is relaxed, engaging, personal, and immediately actionable. He takes on engagements as a speaker, trainer, consultant in neurodiversity and neuro-inclusion.
