Susan MacKenty Brady is a bestselling author, leadership expert, and advisor recognized for her work in inclusive leadership and the advancement of women in business. Brady is the founding CEO of the Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership, where she holds the Deloitte Ellen Gabriel Chair for Women and Leadership. The Institute focuses on developing the mindset and skills of leaders at all stages to foster gender parity and cultures of inclusion. With more than 25 years of experience, Brady has consulted with over 500 organizations worldwide, supporting leaders in cultivating environments that promote individual and organizational success.
Before joining Simmons University, Brady served as executive vice president at Linkage, a global leadership development consulting and training firm. At Linkage, she founded the Women in Leadership Institute and launched the global practice on advancing women leaders and inclusive leadership. Her field research identified the seven leadership hurdles women face in the workforce, contributing to the global conversation on women's career advancement. This expertise in organizational culture and gender equity informs her work as an author and speaker.
Brady is the author of several books on leadership. She co-authored "Arrive and Thrive," a Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestseller that outlines seven practices for women leaders to succeed at work and in life.
