Straight No Chaser is a professional a cappella group known for their rich harmonies, clever arrangements, and charismatic stage presence. Originally formed in 1996 at Indiana University, the group gained national attention in 2007 when a video of their playful rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” went viral on YouTube, leading to a record deal with Atlantic Records. Since then, they’ve released multiple chart-topping albums, including Holiday Spirits and With a Twist, and toured extensively across the U.S. and internationally, bringing a fresh, modern flair to classic pop, rock, and holiday songs—all without instruments.
Another Round is the collegiate group at Indiana University from which Straight No Chaser originated. After the original members graduated and pursued professional careers, including forming the touring version of Straight No Chaser, the student ensemble was renamed Another Round. The group continues the tradition of high-level a cappella performance on campus and beyond, serving as a talent pipeline and living legacy for one of the most successful a cappella acts in the world.
