Fitness instructor Stacey Griffith, celebrated as SoulCycle’s ultimate Senior Master Instructor, has been hailed as a “miracle worker” by her cult-like band of indoor cyclists, as well as the press. A transplant from Los Angeles, CA, Stacey’s motivational coaching style is uniquely her own, combining a passion for dance, athleticism, and mind-blowing music—all set to the beat of her voice.
While Stacey is certified on over 5 bikes and even acted as a Schwinn Presenter for the company’s original “Evolution” launch, it’s her life experiences that set her apart from other trainers. Teaching fitness classes since the 80’s, she also studied Ashtanga Yoga with the late Sri Pattabi Joyce in India and even walked across 12-feet of hot coals as a guest of Anthony Robbins for his “Awaken the Giant Within” retreat. She is an IDEA/ISSA certified personal trainer as well, and has an impressive personal training background earning success with extreme weight loss and overall health for her myriad of clients. Because of her extraordinary teaching and coaching skills, Stacey has become known as an inspirational fitness guru leading her to be featured in media outlets such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Self, Shape, Women’s Health, New York Magazine, and the New York Post among many others. As a board member for Change for Kids, an organization that partners with underprivileged New York City public elementary schools to provide a broad range of essential programming in four core areas (literacy, arts, healthy living, and classroom support), Stacey is also able to mentor new young instructors of Soul Cycle, for which she is very passionate about.
