In June of 2023, Griffith was 55 years old and at the top of her game as one of the most acclaimed fitness instructors in the world, a two-time bestselling author, podcast host, and athletic brand co-founder when she discovered a lump in her breast. Her diagnosis was swift and definitive—HER2 Positive Breast Cancer. She underwent chemotherapy to shrink the lump and subsequently had a lumpectomy, lymph node removal, and radiation. As of January 2024, she was proclaimed cancer-free. Now seven months from diagnosis to recovery, Stacey is vocal about moving through the challenges of breast cancer.
From practicing her recipe of cold therapy and breathing techniques to imbibing the science of spontaneous remissions, Griffith’s mantra remains, “I AM ok.
