Sara Ting Biography
Sara Ting, a first-generation Chinese American, is the founder, president, and CEO of World Unity Inc., an organization she established 31 years ago with a poem and a vision. The Sun Poem, "Are you greater than the sun that shines on everyone: Black, Brown, Yellow, Red and White, the sun does not discriminate", transformed her life and guided her to become an expert in diversity and inclusion.
Sara's dedication to promoting the Sun Poem has garnered recognition from a Governor and the State Senate. Her work includes writing a series of books, such as "5-Minute Training to Empower You and Transform the World", "The Power of Listening in a World of Differences", and "The Key to a Fulfilling Life: Self-Awareness". A TED Talk speaker, Sara's story and her mission were featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" in 2023.
