Natalia Anciso is an American Chicana-Tejana contemporary artist and educator whose work explores the intersection of identity, history, and social justice. Her artwork focuses on issues involving identity, particularly as they relate to her experiences growing up along the U.S.-Mexico border, using visual art and installation art as primary mediums.

Anciso is the first in her family to graduate from college and graduate school. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts, and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of California, Berkeley Graduate School of Education. Anciso received a Berkeley Distinguished Graduate Fellowship, reflecting her commitment to merging artistic practice with educational advocacy.

Specific subjects include the lynchings of Mexicans and Tejanos in Texas by the Texas Rangers, as seen in her "Pinches Rinches" series, which draws from both historical references and family stories from the Rio Grande Valley.

Her work also addresses topics related to education, human rights, and social justice, informed by her experience as an urban educator in the San Francisco Bay Area.
