International trainer, coach and author MK Mueller began her professional life as a high school teacher and a mother when she spent a month in a domestic violence shelter. There, from the depths of despair, she experienced life-changing insights.
Mueller saw that we are not victims because the power to effect change is always within us. From this bold foundation, she began a support group with five neighbors which quickly grew to hundreds meeting to hear her message each week. Her simple and practical empowerment skills brought those who heard them a new sense of freedom and happiness.
Her first book, Taking Care of Me: The Habits of Happiness, was based on those first ten years of training hundreds of thousands in her program. It is now available in English, Spanish and French, and has sold over 50,000 copies.
Mueller developed her newest process, The 8 High Ways, which includes a life-changing positive attitude formula without any formal education in psychology. Her upcoming book, Live the Life You've Imagined: How to Manifest the Best grew from watching how we give away our power to others and then wonder why we feel overwhelmed.
Her empowerment processes are so simple they are accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. In fact, her new high school program, FRE: Full Responsibility Education, has been taught in over 20 high schools across the Midwest with students exclaiming, "This should be required for graduation!"
