Marisol Bello has spent a career championing the stories and voices of people with lived experience, so they lead in creating the solutions that help every family thrive. She began her career as a journalist—most recently at USA TODAY—where she told the stories of families working to make ends meet. She then transitioned into the nonprofit world, leading narrative strategies designed to change hearts and minds about those living on the brink and to inspire people to take action. Today, she serves as Executive Director of Housing Narrative Lab, an organization whose mission is to build support for housing solutions that strengthen communities and make them vibrant and healthy.
A first generation American from a Caribbean family full of colorful storytellers, Bello is originally from the Bronx.
