As a passionate professional speaker, certified trainer, author, and coach Maria D. Higgins has risen to fame by delivering a high-energy message which empowers people to grow and succeed by providing concrete information wrapped in a fun, creative and interactive environment.

In her career, Maria spent over a decade training individuals in software programs and human development courses for major corporations such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, American Cancer Society and others across the U.S. and Canada. She has a passion to see effective training programs that provide a true learning experience. After many years as a full time corporate trainer, Maria walked away from corporate as a full time employee and founded Clear Steps Group, Inc., a people development company that focuses on equipping people to transition in the workplace and personally. Through her company, Maria provides in-depth training to develope leaders, improve communication, productivity and time management, manage change, and other custom training. Maria brings training alive! You may also see Maria presenting seminars for National Seminars Group. She has partnered with the vision that National has to provide quality training programs.

As a professional speaker Maria creates an atmosphere of creative thinking, "ah-ha" moments, laughter, and even tears from emotional connection. Her presentations make for great keynotes, breakout sessions and closeout opportunities. She changes lives wherever she speaks. You can feel the passion and transparency with every word.

Maria also began coaching individuals through their fears and challenges in order to accomplish business and personal goals. She provides her clients with personal attention by focusing on their specific needs. She uses tools such as her interactive book entitled "Grab Fear By the Neck!" to create success stories. She developed many of her systems from her own journey of overcoming shyness and fears which led her entire life being on stage in front of people! Since publishing her book in July 2015 she has been asked to speak on this topic of fear for several conferences.

Maria has also been instrumental in inspiring people to grow spiritually through many of her Christian-based programs. She was asked to co-author "Remarkable Women of Faith" which highlights the stories of 12 women who used their faith to overcome obstacles. She has spoken at many churches and youth groups and used her faith and the Word of God to be an effective minister.

Somehow through it all, Maria knew that she had the strength, determination, passion, and work ethic to build a successful life and help others too.
