Dating violence is a pervasive issue that affects young adults disproportionately. According to statistics, nearly 1 in 3 young people experience abuse in a dating relationship. Students navigating the complexities of relationships and independence, are particularly vulnerable. This workshop seeks to educate from a survivor standpoint, empower, and equip students with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize the signs of unhealthy relationships, set boundaries, advocate for themselves and others and understand what a healthy relationship constitutes.
Domestic Violence (DV) is not just a personal issue—it’s a workplace issue. Employees experiencing abuse often suffer in silence, impacting their mental health, productivity, and overall wellbeing. DV can affect absenteeism, job performance, and team morale, making it crucial for employers to understand their role in supporting those impacted. This DV survivor led workshop brings the human side of the issue to light and equips organizations with tools to foster safety, empathy, and support.
