Lo Bosworth Biography
Lauren Ogilvie Bosworth, known as Lo Bosworth, first gained national attention as an original cast member of MTV's reality series "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," which chronicled the lives of high school seniors in Southern California. Bosworth later joined the cast of the spin-off series "The Hills," moving from a supporting role to a starring position in the final season. Her experiences on these reality television shows formed the basis of her book, "The Lo-Down," which offers insights into her personal journey and time in the entertainment industry.
After her television career, Bosworth pursued higher education, earning a bachelor's degree in art history from UCLA and attending the International Culinary Center in New York City. Her interest in food, wellness, and personal health challenges—including depression, anxiety, and vitamin deficiencies—led her to found Love Wellness, a women's total-body care brand focused on clean, doctor-developed supplements and personal care products.
Under Bosworth's leadership, Love Wellness expanded its presence in the women's wellness industry, with products available at major retailers such as Target, Ulta Beauty, Amazon, Walmart, and CVS Health. The brand achieved significant retail sales and recognition, including honors from WWD Beauty Insider, CEW, Adweek, and CVS Health. Popular products like "Good Girl Probiotics" and "Bye Bye Bloat" have contributed to the brand's growth and reputation for addressing women's health needs.
Bosworth is recognized for her work in entrepreneurship, women's health, and wellness. She has shared her experiences and business insights in publications including Entrepreneur and CNBC. Through her website and Substack newsletter, "The Lo-Down," Bosworth continues to engage audiences on topics related to wellness, self-care, and entrepreneurship, illustrating her transition from reality television to leadership in the health and wellness industry.
